State License Registration	FSSAI State License is for the medium food business owners and the turnover for FSSAI State Registration is 12 Lakhs to 20 Crores. If your food business turnover in Maharashtra is between 12 Lacs to 20 crores then you need to apply for FSSAI Registration in Mumbai under this category. The government fee for FSSAI State License Registration Online in Maharashtra is Rs. 2000 to 5000/- per year depending upon the business to business.
Central License Registration	This type of license is applicable for those whose business turnover exceeds Rs. 20 Crores. If you are an exporter then you need to apply for the central license irrespective of the turnover. The government fee for FSSAI Central License is Rs. 7500/- per year.

FSSAI Renewal Online in Maharashtra

The maharashtra government is strict towards the Food License. There is a penalty upto 05 lacs if you are running any food business without FSSAI License. Every Food License needs to be renewed online before its expiry. So you need to Renew Food License Online in Maharashtra before 30 days of its expiry, otherwise you need to pay a penalty of Rs. 100/- per day. The maximum time period for renewing it is 6 months after its expiry by paying the late fees and penalty. Once it exceeds the 06 months of period after its expiry you can not renew it online.

What will happen if your License gets expired?

As per the government rules every food business owner has to renew his/ her FSSAI License online 30 days prior to its expiry. Failing to do so you need to pay a penalty of Rs. 100/- per day along with the application fee. The period of FSSAI License is 01 year to 05 years. Once your license got expired then you can still renew the same within the next 06 months by paying the late fee. After the expiry of 06 months extension you can’t renew it and you will have to apply for the New FSSAI License.
